A commemoration service in Cheltenham College Chapel will be followed by a day of events in Cheltenham, including the re-dedication of the statue of Dr Edward Wilson of the Antarctic on the Promenade.

13.00 Walk from the College via the new Wilson Panel and Montpellier Parade to the site of the new Wilson Panel at the site of Westal (Eagle Star building). Unveiling of the new panel and short speech by Dr David Wilson

13.45 Walk from the Westal site to the statue of Dr Edward Wilson

14.00 Re-dedication of the renovated statue to Dr Wilson on the Promenade in Cheltenham, and unveiling of the new Wilson Panel at the statue. The public are strongly encouraged to attend this event.
